A Seasonal Delight at Long Camp RV Park
Every Saturday from the last Saturday in April to the last Saturday in October (weather permitting) there is a farmers market at the long camp RV park in Kamiah. The market opens at 10 a.m. and closes around 2 p.m. It is on Google maps, located just 0.4 miles north of the Kamiah KOA on Highway 12.
There is usually enough parking to accommodate at least ten cars simultaneously. Because of the size of this venue, most people have finished browsing within an hour. This means parking is not a frequent issue, as attendees tend to cycle through at a reasonable pace.
Food & Treasures
Food is sold at a food truck on the property, with a menu consisting of hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, and things of the like. Be prepared for prices similar to a county fair food stand. Some vendors at the farmers market will also offer food, typically sweets.
You can find stands ranging from fresh produce to handmade jewelry, beading, soaps, herbs, jams and jellies, and more. Second-hand stands are allowed, so you will also find some used clothes, purses, etc. While the market opens around 10:00am, most booths are usually done packing up by 2:00 p.m. Vendors leave at their discretion, so you may miss anyone who has sold out of their products/services early.
New vendors appear all the time, so keep a lookout. Be sure to get the best of what local vendors have to offer during farmers market season at Long Camp!
